oh. my. frikken. god.

~*~*happy belated bday alfie*~*~
ohmygod I’m sooooo sorrie I completely forgot. and the last conversation we HAD was about when your birthday was!! it was YESTERDAY! I’m so sorrie! I just haven’t been online lately and I’m such a loser that does nothing but work and paddle and sleep and read harry potter. =((( I hope you had an awesome birthday with lots of nerdy presents and an eat-til-you-throw-up dinner. I’m so poetic eh? *huggies*

first, let me talk about my yesterday. I was about to not go to the paddlers.anon practice (see yesterday) until ed decided to give me a lift. so we drove around downtown, got slightly lost, I got to get a picture of buns master *YAY* and ended up on the creepy deserted cherry st towards the toronto outer harbour. the captain recognised my ericsson tag (because I emailed him from work) which was a good thing cuz I had no idea what he looked like, PLUS I forgot his name. =P um… but yeah, they were very understanding and said I could come to the next practice. there was this guy that was so disappointed ed and I weren’t rowing he was going to offer me an extra shirt. that was “kinda gross”. er, thanks but no thanks… I also go to see the hammerheads as the left the docking area: “look, that’s the hammerhead boat!! that’s my coach!! that one over there in the ugly blue cap!!” I’m so proud to be coached by joe. hahaha!
so after that, ed and I went back to north york to go have sushi! that was fun. all in all a good night. with many memorable experiences. most of them being my random train / tugboat / truck noises *wooo wooooooooooooooo* and my scared noises (tee: “aaaaaah!” / ed: “ohmygod!!”) and I was supposed to take a picture of the gangfight we SHOULD’VE gone too, but ed chickened out. hahahhaaa!
and today… OH this morning!! when I was driving down leslie and about to go on the highway, right at the lights where the hospital is, I was waiting for the red light to change and a whole bunch of geese started walking in a line onto the road. at first they were waddling along the pedestrian thing (you know how at light intersections they have those lines indicating where pedestrians should walk? there!) but then the started to go out into the middle of my lane. I guess they got confused. and they had baaaaaaabieeeeeeeees!! and I had my camera in my bag, but it was in the backseat, and I knew ken would kill me if I tried to reach for it while driving. *POUT* but it was soooo adorable! and then when the light changed, I was afraid to hit any of them because well… they’re geese with babies! plus, if you kill one you can get fined up to 800 bucks. =P
that’s it for today. I get to see my hunnie today!!! *mwa*

ya-hay!! no publishing screwups! wtg blogger!

oh crap. blogger switched me over to the new template. I hope I don’t have donna’s issue with the whole “my blog won’t publish the fifteen thousand posts I wrote out…” *grr* anyways…
so yesterday was very.. um… eventful. ed picked me up after work and we were gonna go play some badmitten, but we got ourselves “dinner” and by the time we were done eating our meal at the rec centre we were so full that we couldn’t play. so instead we went to a nearby park where all these kiddies were playing and had some fun… until we came across a see-saw and I demanded that we go play on it. so um, ed’s a little … bigger than me because he’s a boy and all, and he bounced me right off the thing and I landed on my butt and scraped my elbow and knee and got a small cut on my hand and broke my leg and got a heart attack from the dinner and ended up in the hospital without any arms!!!! hahaha I’m kidding, everything was true up to the broken leg bit. boo!!! and the whole time afterwards he kept saying “please don’t tell ambrose. I’m so sorry. please don’t tell ambrose…” and treated me to gelato in hopes to hush me up. it was goooooood gelato. =) I should take ambrose there sometime, except it’s all in the downtown etobicoke area where Iw ouldn’t know what I was doing or how to get there. =P
so anyways, that was my yesterday. today (I THINK) ed’s gonna come pick me up and we’re gonna go to the toronto outer harbour to check out the paddlers.anon team practice.

~*~*happy belated to ivano*~*~

June 23 2003: TIDBRF: pictures from the races!

btw, anyone ever wondered what happend to mad dog & billie of ciss 92? tune into the new morning show on chfi 98.1

forgot to mention:
I went to the “far enough” farm in centerville. I got to see male peacocks with all their feathers out trying to get jiggy with the females. it was a sad sad sight =( I also go to see baby geese, and baby bunnies (SOOOO cute!) and baby emus (… not as cute).
pictures to be up tonight (not of the farm though, cuz I forgot to bring my camera there *BOOO!!!*)

aloha ppl!! sooo much to tell you all about!
firstly, I got my new harry potter book. and I didn’t beat up any little children for it. in fact, my sweetheart of a boyfriend went out and waited in line at midnight to get it for me because I collapsed on my bed and passed out at 11pm. =( is my hunnie not great??? *mwa* he didn’t get to sleep until two in the morning just cuz he got me my book!!! thank you baby!!
secondly, tee’s dragonboat races was an awesome event. we placed third in the C division (going up from first in the E division last year), and we are very proud. we raced against Screamin’ Demons, a very good team, and TADs, which apparently had the hydrophobics former coach. so it was a good effort by everyone, but Screamin Demons was the winning team. Still, we’re very proud of our placing, seeing how this is only the second year we’ve paddled in community division. Thank you all to those that came to cheer on my team:
adi – you left so early!
lis & carm – hi!! I hope you guys had fun!!
min, wayne & andrew – boys should’ve stolen more pop! we had so much left!
weenie – way to kill my chess game! =P
jamie – *poke poke* I didn’t get a picture with you! >_<
iola & ed – sollie about the cherries… and the water… 0=)
ville & victor – it was so great seeing you two again & just talking!! =))))
james – for that TWO seconds I saw you roller blading past me
vicky – yaaaaay *huggies* I haven’t seen you in ages beautiful!!
is that it? I’m gonna feel so bad if I missed someone… =P oh, hi to Chris who gave me a call friday night but couldn’t come to the races cuz he was going to the sars concert! and to matt, who called me yesterday night but I haven’t checked his msg yet because I’ve been too tired… okay then, I’m at work, so I should get some stuff done. see y’all laters! yay hydrophobic!

me: hey, whatcha up to?
him: sleeping. where are you?
me: still at the office. I’ll be here til 645
him: why so late?
me: gotta wait for my ride
him: I was gonna come see you… do you still want me to?
me: my ride’s leaving the office in ten minutes, I might as well hitch with him. if you had come at 530 I’d go with you
him: I was tired….
